Vala Alta was founded by an optimistic environmental engineer dissatisfied with the speed of pollution clean-up efforts. Seeking a practical, actionable way to make a difference – Dan purchased handkerchiefs and instantly fell in love with their endless utility. The desire to gift them to everyone in his life led him to forge his own. Staying true to engineering principles, The Everyday Handkerchief is designed with the same intention as modern environmental technologies; doing what we can to reduce global waste and save forest resources for where they're needed most.
