Greatest hanky ever!

Who knew these would be indispensable? So absorbent and far superior to cotton!
Seldom do things exceed their hype; these do. I love having an Alta Vista handkerchief as an essential item in my EDC kit. Never having to carry tissues is wonderful. I found that I can always rinse one real well in cold water (even from a nose bleed!), wring it dry, stretch it out on a flat surface overnight, fold it neatly in the morning, and voila, good to go for another day! All the colors are fabulous and fun, too. I bought ten large ones for myself and will likely get some for gifts. I even find myself ironing them, because they looks so incredibly cool done up like that. Buy them!

I’ve
been using the 12 inch handkerchiefs for a while now and decided to try the larger size. Quality is the same-soft and pliable, drys quickly and still slips easily into my back pocket. Im gonna have to switch all of mine to the larger size now! The sage color is great too!

They were a gift. The recipient said they were sofy and wonderful. Have never seen them myself

Not worth the price!

I love these handkerchiefs. Admittedly they are a bit rough initially but I trust they will soften up with wash, as reviews have said

Old Fashioned Handkerchief’s

I purchased these for my SIL. Hopefully he will like them. I purchased a single, 13 inch one for me. I like it better than tissues. After Christmas, I will purchase the larger ones for me.

Love linen

These handkerchiefs are beautifully made. I Love the colors and the linen is soft and supple. I bought these as gifts; I’m sure they will be well received. Thank you.

I like these

These are thin, soft and absorbent. I was getting nasal rash from using Bounty, toilet paper, and Kim-Wipes. After I wash them, I take a hot iron and flatten them up, then I put them in my pocket.

A little pricey but by far the softest, most absobent and quick drying hankerchief I've ever used on my life. It's been eye opener after only knowing and using cotton.

Great for everything

I’ve been using these handkerchiefs for nearly two years at this point and k don’t go anywhere without one in my pocket. As a woman in her mid-50s I can start sweating at the drop of a hat and these handkerchiefs are perfect for mopping sweat. I’ve also used them to dry my hands instead of using one of those terrible hand dryers. The linen dries so fast it can go back into my pocket quickly even when they’ve gotten really soaked.

Love the linen handkerchiefs. I stuff one in several pockets so i am always covered

Should be nicely packaged in a box. Tag very uncomfortable. No more

I love that these are made from linen, a 100% natural material, that will get softer every wash...

Perfect

Couldn’t be happier. Use these every day, wish I had bought these years earlier. I find the 16” size to be perfect for me. Have been using linen towels, wash clothes and napkins for years. Linen is a far superior fabric, it dries fast and is very durable and absorbent.

Excellent product. Exceeded expectations.

absolutely loved these! bummed that the light blue was unavailable though

Too small

I measured my old-style handkerchiefs and ordered the smaller size. Huge mistake. Don’t know where I went wrong, but the smaller size isn’t good for an all-around “emergency cloth” that it’s always been for me. The material is good, but not useful.

Great

Decided to buy handkerchiefs since my nose runs all the time (I've been diagnosed with chronic rhinitis), and I was tired of carrying tissues with me!

I like them so far; soft on my nose, absorbent, and they look nice! :)

Amazing quality

I absolutely love these! I ordered the weekdayer 5 pack and I’m definitely going to order a few more! They work fantastic cleaning my glasses too if I haven’t blown my nose on it yet! It is winter!

Perfect

So happy to have linen hankies instead of using throw away Kleenex.
These are wonderful hankies. I’m hooked

Didn't know I needed these until . . .

I never realized how useful a handkerchief can be, beyond wiping your nose! I carry one everyday now. They're great for cleaning your glasses, wiping your brow or hands . . . I love how they get softer over time.

We Don't Cut Corners

Crafted from premium Irish Linen and sewn with care in the USA, these handkerchiefs are made to withstand years of daily use. Durable, dependable, and only better with age.
Step 1. Premium European Flax
Our flax is grown in the rich coastal soils of France, Belgium, and the Netherlands—the world’s premier flax-growing region. The cool, damp climate and centuries of agricultural expertise produce longer, stronger fibers that spin into finer, more durable linen. No shortcuts. Just premium raw material from farms that have mastered this crop for generations.
Step 2. 100% Irish Linen
Once harvested, our flax heads to Northern Ireland, where it’s transformed into linen using time-honored weaving traditions. Irish linen has long been prized for its strength, breathability, and unmatched hand-feel. It’s more than just a fabric—it’s a legacy. Every yard is the result of generations of craftsmanship and a commitment to doing things right.
Step 3. Cut & Sewn in the USA
We bring that legacy home. Each handkerchief is cut and sewn in small batches by skilled manufacturing partners in New York, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut. With precision edges, reinforced corners, and consistent quality, our American-made finishing ensures that every piece meets the highest standards—from the first stitch to the final fold.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! We can ship international, however we are unable to account for any additional duties, fees or taxes (VAT, etc.) that buyers could be charged when the package arrives in their country. Additionally, we are unable to cover the cost for international shipping, even above our normal free shipping minimums.

Our handkerchiefs are made of a prewashed linen fabric so shrinkage should be kept to 3% or less. To prevent even minimal shrinkage - avoid tumble drying on high heat. We recommend washing in cool water & air-drying. If overdried, handkerchiefs may wrinkle, however they should return to normal dimensions after rewetting or ironing.

Any handkerchief that doesn't wrinkle isn't one that you want; that means it's made of synthetic fibers which are poor for functionality & the environment. We love linen's natural, lived-in look, especially because our handkerchiefs are made for use, not for show.

According to the E.P.A., over 7.6 billion pounds of paper tissues & towel waste is created in the U.S. each year. This is a problem because most tissues are made from virgin-fiber (fresh cut trees), as they produce the softest and most absorbent tissues.

We believe that this is an inefficient use of valuable forestry resources

According to the WWF wood products can be reused up to 7 times – meaning that tissues, paper towels, and other short-lived paper products would be great candidates for recycled paper.

Reserving timber for projects that extend the useful life of forestry resources.

Some retailers do offer tissues made from recycled fibers. The NRDC's "Issue with Tissue" Report is a great place to check out a list of these companies.

Not at all, the beauty of handkerchiefs lies in their endless utility. Absorb the elements of the the outdoors, wipe your sweat at the gym or in yoga, use them as an eco-friendly way to dry your hands in public, the list goes on. Handkerchiefs adapt to the day-to-day needs of your life!

Yes, in fact, handkerchiefs often improve personal hygiene by providing a contactless way of covering coughs and sneezes & offer a handsfree way of touching your face (keep those pores clean!). All that matters is that handkerchiefs are washed after daily use and your hands are kept clean, which you do already.

Not to mention, our handkerchiefs are naturally antibacterial.

We each spend approximately $55.27 per year* on tissues, paper towels & napkins, however by switching to handkerchiefs you can cut that number significantly.

We'd like to dodge the tissue tax and stop wasting money on garbage as much as possible.

*Computed by taking the total household paper spend per person and subtracting out the percentage attributable to toilet paper.
