I never realized how useful a handkerchief can be, beyond wiping your nose! I carry one everyday now. They're great for cleaning your glasses, wiping your brow or hands . . . I love how they get softer over time.
I originally bought these for my husband as he carries Hankey’s and we have had a hard time finding good ones. I stole one and had to have more for the whole family. These things are perfect. They are well built, sturdy, yet soft. They hold up well to daily use and washing. Will buy again.

I need some winter colors. I have more than 60 white cotton handkerchiefs so I need more earthly colors. The ones I bought from you guys pastel colors great product.

Very happy. I ended up buying another batch! Colors keep coming out the same wash after wash. I might be crazy but I just wash them in my shower and hang them to dry. Works for me. I think they get softer with each wash.

Perhaps it is because I am comparing the softness of my new Vala Alta handkerchiefs to my well worn old handkerchiefs. But after one washing the Vala Alta still feel very stiff and rough by comparison. Will amend this review after multiple more washings. I purchased these handkerchiefs to use, not look crisp and pretty. Giving it 4 stars based on quality on construction and absorbency of material.
First off it's a fine handkerchief ... but there are issues. If you purchase the average handkerchief it is 16 inches not 12. The 12's i bought thinking that they are the normal average size are not the same surface area. Also, the edges tend to curl versus cotton. Maybe with some starch this will abate, but at this price I would expect better

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! We can ship international, however we are unable to account for any additional duties, fees or taxes (VAT, etc.) that buyers could be charged when the package arrives in their country. Additionally, we are unable to cover the cost for international shipping, even above our normal free shipping minimums.
Our handkerchiefs are made of a prewashed linen fabric so shrinkage should be kept to 3% or less. To prevent even minimal shrinkage - avoid tumble drying on high heat. We recommend washing in cool water & air-drying. If overdried, handkerchiefs may wrinkle, however they should return to normal dimensions after rewetting or ironing.
Any handkerchief that doesn't wrinkle isn't one that you want; that means it's made of synthetic fibers which are poor for functionality & the environment. We love linen's natural, lived-in look, especially because our handkerchiefs are made for use, not for show.
According to the E.P.A., over 7.6 billion pounds of paper tissues & towel waste is created in the U.S. each year. This is a problem because most tissues are made from virgin-fiber (fresh cut trees), as they produce the softest and most absorbent tissues.
